Paul Alexander

Paul Alexander only began learning salsa in 2020, but it became his passion. After getting his start at local studios, he now travels regularly to NYC and elsewhere to study with top-level dancers. He started Boise Salsa in order to help grow the local dance community and increase access to instruction in the Treasure Valley. With a professional background in mental health, Paul sees dance as a pathway for self-exploration, self-expression, and connection to the body.

Isiah Echevarria

Isiah started his salsa journey in 2018 in Little Rock, where he quickly fell in love with the music, movement, and connection that salsa brings. Isiah trained for two years under Benny and Ashley, building a strong foundation and deep appreciation for the craft, before taking his passion overseas to South Korea. There, he  spent four years performing, traveling, and growing as a dancer with Team Loco Nomaz—an experience that shaped both his style and perspective on salsa as a global community.
